TAG

TAG (Teen Activities Group) is for everyone in middle school and high school and meets every other Wednesday at 3pm on Zoom. Check this page for details – some weeks we’ll have take-and-make kits available beforehand at the library, other weeks you’ll have to find the materials yourself.

Wednesday, 11/4, 3pm – De-Stress Day

Grab a bag of supplies and join us on Zoom to make scratch art bookmarks, pop some bubble wrap, and do some coloring! The kit will have everything you’ll need except for colored pencils or markers. Kits will be available on a first come first served basis. They will be next to the library contact -free pickup tables on Monday, 11/2 and Tuesday, 11/3.

Wednesday, 11/18, 3pm – Zentangles

Grab a bag of supplies and join us on Zoom to color and fold your own fidget toy! The kit will have everything you’ll need except for colored pencils or markers. Kits will be available  on a first come first served basis, next to the library contact-free pickup tables on Monday 11/16 and Tuesday 11/17.

Book Clubs

We offer three book clubs – one for homeschool kids ages 12 and up, one for all teens, and one for lovers of YA literature of ALL ages. Please read the book beforehand so you’ll be ready to discuss (but if you haven’t read the book, you are still welcome to attend, but there will be spoilers!). Book clubs meet on Zoom.

Homeschool Book Club (ages 12+)

YA for All Ages Book Group

The YA for All Ages Book Group is brand new! Next meeting: November 30, 7pm, reading Uglies by Scott Westerfeld (full details here).  You can just drop in via the Zoom link, but we’d also love to hear from you if you’re interested in joining or have book suggestions! Email us at [email protected] and put “YA for All Ages” in the subject line!
