Teen Programs

TAG (Teen Activities Group) is for everyone in middle school and high school and meets every other Wednesday at 3pm on Zoom. Check this page for details – some weeks we’ll have take-and-make kits available beforehand at the library, other weeks you’ll have to find the materials yourself.

Wednesday, 10/7, 3pm – Microwave Mug Cooking
Learn how to make Pumpkin Cake and Chocolate Cake in your microwave! You’ll need a microwave, two mugs (without metal decorations), and this list of materials and ingredients. (If you do not have access to these ingredients, email us at [email protected] by 10/4 and we’ll see what we can do.)

Book Clubs

We offer two book clubs – one for homeschool kids ages 12 and up, and one for all teens. Please read the book beforehand so you’ll be ready to discuss (but if you haven’t read the book, you are still welcome to attend, but there will be spoilers!). Book clubs meet on Zoom.

Homeschool Book Club (ages 12+)

Next Meeting: October 2, 10:30am on Zoom, reading Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson. Register here for the Zoom link. If you have ideas for future books, please email us at [email protected] and put “Homeschool Book Club” in the subject line!

Teen Book Club

The Teen  Book Club is currently on hiatus, but we’d love to hear from you if you’re interested in joining! Email us at [email protected] and put “Teen Book Club” in the subject line!
