Teen Programs

TAG

TAG (Teen Activities Group) is for everyone in middle school and high school and normally meets every other Wednesday. Right now, we’re offering take-and-make kits available every other week, first-come first-serve, at our contact-free pick-up location.

Week of March 1 – 3D Coloring Puzzle

Grab a bag of assorted supplies to color and build a 3D puzzle. Kits will be available, first come first served, next to the library contact-free pickup tables.

Week of March 15 – Tissue Paper Stained Glass

Grab a bag of supplies to create your own tissue paper stained glass hangings. Kits will be available, first come first served, next to the library contact-free pickup tables.

Book Clubs

We offer three book clubs – one for homeschool kids ages 12 and up, one for all teens, and one for lovers of YA literature of ALL ages. Please read the book beforehand so you’ll be ready to discuss (but if you haven’t read the book, you are still welcome to attend, but there will be spoilers!). Book clubs meet on Zoom.

Homeschool Book Club (ages 12+)

Next Meeting: March 5, 10:30am on Zoom, reading Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi and The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune (this is catch-up from January and February). Register here for the Zoom link. If you have ideas for future books, please email us at [email protected] and put “Homeschool Book Club” in the subject line!
