TAG (Teen Activities Group) meets most Wednesdays at 1:30 pm during the school year and is open to everyone in grades 6 through 12. We enjoy snacks and all different kinds of activities – crafts, games, movies, experiments, and more! There is no sign-up – just drop in!
1/8 – Duct Tape Crafts – Get creative and make duct tape wallets, jewelry, and more.
1/15 – Hexbug Mazes – Build mazes and try to get a hexbug to solve it!
1/22 – Movie: The Mighty Ducks – A self-centered lawyer is sentenced to community service coaching a ragtag youth hockey team. (PG)
1/29 – Marshmallow Painting – Use food-safe markers to decorate marshmallows into characters and creatures of all sorts.
We offer two book clubs – one for homeschool kids ages 12 and up, and one for all teens. Please read the book beforehand so you’ll be ready to discuss (but if you haven’t read the book, you are still welcome to attend, but there will be spoilers!). Book clubs meet in the Reference Room, right around the corner from the Teen Area.
