Museum Passes

Museum Passes

Visiting our many museums has changed.

While requesting a museum pass from the Library is done in much the same manner as in the past, how you visit each museum has changed. Some museums have instituted timed ticketing so it is important that you check with a particular museum to see what they require you to do in order to reserve tickets. In almost all cases, you will need to plan in advance

  • You may book only one date for each museum per month and no more than three museums per week.
  • All library passes can be booked online via our website.
  • You will need your valid library card, an email and a phone number to complete the reservation.
  • Your reservation will be confirmed via the email you enter on the reservation form.

In some instances, you will be allowed to print your pass directly from your email confirmation. Non-printable coupon passes may be picked up at the library before the day of your visit. And for returnable passes, you can pick the pass up the day before or the day of your visit. The returnable pass should be returned at the end of the day of or the day after your visit.

If you have any questions, please contact the the Library at (781) 275-9440.

Museum passes are made possible by funding from the Friends of the Library. Memberships and proceeds from book sales help fund a wide variety of library offerings including: museum passes, children’s, teen and adult programs, summer reading, and the Library of Things.
