Kids Events

We offer a variety of children’s events including storytimes, music programs, crafts, science events, movie showings and more. Check out online calendar for a complete list of our events. The children’s department serves children through 5th grade. If your child has started 6th grade, be sure to check out the teen events serving middle school and high school students.

Storytimes will be on hiatus the first three weeks of April. There are (almost) no children’s events the first week of April due to the Friends of the Library Booksale. There are many one-time programs the following two weeks before storytimes resume. Check our calendar for a complete list.

Tuesdays at 10:30 AM: Tuesday Tales, a family storytime.

Join our part-time staff member Rachel for a new weekly storytime! This storytime is open to all ages and will feature books, flannels, rhymes and more.

Wednesdays at 10:30 AM: Family Storytime, an all ages event.

Join Miss Nicole every week for all ages fun including books, rhymes, music and musical instruments.

Thursdays at 10:30 AM: Wiggle Worms, a first storytime.

Learn storytime basics with repeated songs and rhymes every week. This 20 minute storytime is designed to help children learn what to expect and how to listen during storytime.
