1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
1000 Books Before Kindergarten is retiring.
Patrons already signed up can continue to read and log until September 1. No new patrons can sign up at this time.
In the Fall, we will be adding a NEW Family Reading Program that will run from September – May. In the meantime join us for our March Reading Challenges & Summer Reading.
Why commit to 1,000 books?
Research demonstrates that young children who are read to on a regular basis have an advantage when learning to read for themselves. Reading together builds closeness and early literacy skills, which are the foundations for school success.
