Lecture Series 2022

Great Moments in Polar Exploration: Lecture 2

Professor Dan Breen is back.

The names and achievements of famous explorers of the Polar Regions are well known, and the history of polar exploration is filled with stories of courage and endurance, as well as triumph and tragedy, continuing to intrigue us today.

The series will be held on four Sundays: March 13 and March 20 from 2-4 pm, continuing April 3 and April 10 from 2-4 pm.

This year will be a bit different than in past years. We are offering a ‘hybrid’ format. Limited seating for 40 people and the OWL for those who wish to join ‘virtually’.

Patrons interested in joining us ‘live’ will need to register. Please complete the form below and enter the number of people in your party that will attend. We will need to have a contact phone and email in case of a cancelation of the weekly lecture. On the day of the lecture, you will need to check in after 1:45 pm at the Meeting Room door. NOTE: You will need to sign up each week you wish to attend in person.
