E-Cards

Don’t have a library card? You can still get an e-card for the Bedford Free Public Library (Minuteman Library Network) as well as the Boston Public Library!

Minuteman Library Network

Click on this link and fill out the form to sign up. This e-card is good for 6 months. To transfer this e-card to a regular library card (once libraries re-open), please bring a photo ID and a proof of address (such as a bill). Children under 12 do not need these but do need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Teens must have a student ID or be able to login to their school account online.

The Minuteman Library Network e-card allows you to use Overdrive, hoopla (Bedford residents only), Kanopy (Bedford residents only), and Mango Languages (Bedford residents only), in addition to a variety of databases. A full list of our digital resources can be found here. 

Boston Public Library

Everyone who lives in Massachusetts is eligible for a library card from the Boston Public Library.  Click on this link and fill out the form to sign up.  BPL e-cards are good for 2 years. You do not need an e-card if you already have a physical card from the BPL.

The Boston Public Library e-card allows you to use Overdrive, hoopla, RBDigital, and a wide assortment of databases. A full list of digital resources can be found here.
