The Bedford Flag is secured in a special room on the
Library's History Mezzanine, where
it is protected from heat, unfiltered light, fire, humidity, and theft.
To see the Flag, please ask at the Circulation Desk on the main floor.
In exchange for your driver's license (or other secure deposit), you will
receive a magnetic key that will allow admittance to the Flag Room.
Also available for viewing on the History Mezzanine are panel displays
that document the Flag's conservation at the Textile Conservation Center
in Lowell and a large photoreproduction of the Flag.
