Bingo Summer Reading Club

It's easy! It's fun!

1. Sign up in the Children's Room

2. Get a Bingo card

3. Check-out some great books

4. Record your reading & activities on your Bingo card

Each time you complete a Bingo row, bring your card into the Children's Room and receive a Bingo Bucks Coupon. Use your coupon for one free book from the Friends of the Library Children's Book Nook.

5 completed Bingo rows = 5 free books AND a special certificate! Keep reading, complete the entire Bingo card and you can enter the raffle for a special book prize!

Do you enjoy crafts and working with younger kids? Will you be starting or finishing 6th Grade this year? If you answered "yes" to both questions, please consider joining our team of awesome volunteers and help with summer programs.

Bears

The Children's Department has materials for children through the sixth grade, including books, videos, CDs, cassettes, CD-ROMs, magazines, books on tape and CD, puzzles and puppets. We also provide two computers with filters for internet use, and a listening station for storybook recordings.

Comedy ... with a Drip!

Kick-off your summer fun with BubbleMania! Casey Carle's one-man show has it all: comedy, jazzy music, and bubbles like you've never seen before! His tricks include a cube bubble, bubble Ping-Pong, fog filled bubble sculptures, and enveloping an audience member inside a gigantic bubble. Suitable for children ages 5 and up.
