Book Sales and Book Donations

The Friends of the Bedford Library holds book sales twice a year, in the spring and the fall.

Throughout the year, the Friends offers books for sale in three locations at the library - a permanent cart located on the mezzanine, in the alcove to the right of the Circulation desk, and the new Children's Book Store on the first floor beneath the stairs. Thanks to generous donations from the community, proceeds from these sales help support the Bedford Free Public Library.

The Friends accepts donations of used books that are clean and in good condition. Unfortunately, magazines are not accepted. However, textbooks in pristine condition (no writing, high-lights or other markings) and encyclopedia sets will be accepted.

Drop off is located on the 1st floor next to elevator behind the Circulation Dept.
